When making tamales, we recommend adding enough water to fill stockpot just below the steaming rack. However, due to the item's size, hand-washing is recommended. Use a soft sponge or dishcloth to clean exterior. Nylon or plastic scouring pads can be used inside, or use our Princess House® Stainless Steel Cookware Cleaner.
